Role – Quality Assurance In-charge for Metal Coating Line
Responsibilities-
* Ensure the quality of Metal Coated outgoing products meet the customer requirements for intended application through online process control, final inspection and testing with flow of material to next process. * Review product quality and process parameters compliance:
* Review, on daily basis, the quality of metallic coated coils to meet the customer requirement as per TDC (Technical Delivery Condition).
* Ensure the compliance of Metal Coating Line process parameters to achieve the product quality.
* Review, on daily basis, the quality of metallic coated coils to meet the customer requirement as per TDC (Technical Delivery Condition).
* Ensure the compliance of Metal Coating Line process parameters to achieve the product quality.
* Give decision of hold material of daily production and hold
* Discussion with sales team to salvage hold/old inventory material.
* Clearance and Inspection of Input material on need basis if person responsible is not present.
Material Master Management:
* Giving input of TDC in creating material number as per customer requirements.
* Creation of TDC in MES (Screen No. TBGDS003) and get it approved from superior.
* Creation of coils mechanical/chemical properties data to decide the dispatch quality.
Customer Relations:
* Making TSS (Technical Supply Specification) as per customer requirement.
* Customer Visit in case of customer complaint to resolve product related issues at customer end.
* Root cause analysis of both internal and external complaints and communicate to different line owners
* CAPA management of both external and internal customers after discussion with concerned agency. Also to check CAPA effectiveness to avoid repetitive complaint of same defect.
* Organize samples to customers as required by sales.
* Third party inspection for Metal Coated Products
Integrated Management System, Legal and TPM:
* Carry out the internal audits
* Participate as an auditee in IMS external audit and any third party audit.
* Preparing and reviewing SOP’s, QAP and other related documents as per compliance.
* Performing the task of KK (Kobetsu Kaizen) Pillar to improvement in product quality.
* Ensuring 5S at Lab to improve efficiency by eliminating the waste of motion looking for tools, materials.
* Continual improvements through KAIZEN, OPL and PROJECTS
* Performing the tasks of LEGATRIX on regular basis to comply the legal requirement.
* Managing Management, Shift schedule, approving leaves and having their KRA’s as per organizational goal.
* Making line Inspectors and Operation aware/or training of any new TDC’s or modification
* Safety compliance as per Company Policy :
* Doing safety audit per month to identify the weakness in system and strengthen it.
Candidate- BE in Metallurgy & 10 - 12 years in steel industry.
